Seven States Leads the Way in Preparing for an EV Revolution

Annual Meeting Underscores Renewable Energy Mission

Our members celebrated the Seven States Power’s achievements over the past year during the annual meeting at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., on Thursday, October 1. KUB, TVA Honored for Transformative Work in Solar

Seven States Power member and board representative Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) and Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) Chris Hansen join the ranks of Facebook, Google, Volkswagen and a host of local power companies as Solar Champions according to Tennessee Solar Energy Industries Association (TenneSEIA). Seven States Power, Huntsville Utilities Break Ground on Solar Project at U.S. Space & Rocket Center

Seven States Power Corp., with partners the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and Huntsville Utilities, broke ground on Thursday, August 27, for Project Liftoff. This new power supply flexibility project took months of planning and coordination between the three organizations. TN Clean Fuels Press Release: Tennessee Tech Unveils New DCFC Unit in Cookeville as Part of “EV Testbed” Project

On July 22, Tennessee Technological University (Tennessee Tech, or TTU) unveiled a new Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) station that will serve a U.S. Department of Energy-funded project started in 2019, as well as the greater Cookeville area. The unit was installed in a TTU parking lot along a busy corridor in Cookeville and will be the primary refueling site for an all-electric E450 shuttle bus that is part of the same DOE project.
