Four New Members Confirmed
April 17, 2020

In just over a year, the boards of directors for four local power companies have confirmed their commitment to Seven States Power Corporation by passing a resolution of membership. In 2019, Alabama’s Scottsboro EB and Tennessee’s Jellico Electric & Water Systems joined, and in recent months Alabama’s Franklin EC and Russellville EB confirmed membership, bringing to 133 the total number of Seven States Power members. Each of the companies paid dues when the electric cooperative was formed in 2007 but only recently completed the membership resolution.

Membership in Seven States Power provides access to turnkey solutions on all of the innovative products and services offered through the cooperative. It also offers access to research on new and emerging technologies and special pricing on renewable energy assets such as backup generators and electric vehicle (EV) chargers through preferred vendors.

Local power companies in the Tennessee Valley that are unsure of their membership status or would like information on how to complete the membership process are invited to download a sample resolution and contact us at info@7SPC.com.
