Seven States Power Corporation Continues Expansion by Adding New Staff Member
July 6, 2022

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee – July 6, 2022 – Seven States Power Corporation welcomes its newest team member, Jessica Cleveland, who joins as Director of Business Support Services, one of two new full-time positions announced earlier this year to provide support for the organization’s expanding engagement efforts with members and partners.

Cleveland joins Seven States from Springfield Electric of Springfield, TN, where she most recently served as an energy services advisor.

In just over a year since its founding, Seven States has doubled in staff size and has become a trusted energy and technology solutions provider for its member-owners: the 153 local power companies in the Tennessee Valley.

“Our growing team is excited to welcome Jessica not only because she is a talented professional, but also because of the additional value she will bring to our member-owners,” said Betsey Kirk McCall, President and CEO of Seven States Power Corporation. “Her experience in coordinating partnerships and managing complex projects will complement Seven States’ mission to design, develop, and deploy technology solutions across our region.”

After nearly a decade as a high school English instructor in White House, TN, Cleveland served as a copy editor for an advertising agency where she acquired valuable skills executing high-quality ad campaigns for clients. She later joined Springfield Electric to provide support in several key areas, including customer service, external communications, research, and event planning.

Cleveland holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and a master’s degree from the University of Houston-Victoria.

“I have respected the talent of the Seven States team from a local power company perspective, so to have the chance to add my voice to the team is very exciting,” said Jessica Cleveland, Director of Business Support. “I am thrilled to be a part of this team as it continues to expand and evolve for the good of the Tennessee Valley.”
